Welcome Home!

Eating compulsively, binge eating disorder, bulimia, and anorexia are some of the compulsive eating behaviors that bring us together.

Binge Eating Disorder and eating compulsively result in loss of control and feelings of shame.  Bulimics vomit and purge their food after a binge until they feel clean and empty. Anorexics starve to stay in control & be perfect.  Body dysmorphia, restricting, eating our emotions, obsessing about what we are eating, and spending money on diets are other issues we face together.
Welcome Home!  We all come together to find a solution through the 12 steps. You are not alone.  You will find people who understand what it’s like and are willing to help.  Together we can do what we can’t do alone.

Most OA meetings are held on Zoom due to COVID precautions.   A couple are meeting in person + Zoom, check the meetings page for up to date information.   When things open back up, you will find Overeaters Anonymous meetings in the Greater Seattle Area in Bellevue, Ballard, Edmonds, Shoreline, Everett, Renton, Bainbridge Island, Mill Creek, Monroe, Des Moines, Everett, Redmond, Denny Park, Green Lake/Ravenna, University District, Columbia City, Woodinville, and Burien, Washington.  If you are not high tech, you can phone the Zoom meeting without installing Zoom.

There are also OA groups outside of Seattle – in King County, Snohomish County, Skagit County, Island County, Pierce County, Thurston County, Grays Harbor County, and the Olympic Peninsula.
